Bijou Attey Quist

I am a communications professional specializing in international development and diaspora governance, driven by a passion for storytelling that creates meaningful connections and strengthens inclusive growth. As a Communications Officer at the International Centre for Evaluation and Development, I lead external communications and help translate evidence into products that support localized research and informed decision making across Africa and the global development community. My work is grounded in a commitment to helping people share their stories with confidence and clarity.

My background in industrial organizational psychology and fine arts allows me to bring a creative and people centered approach to development communications. I am fluent in five languages, which enables me to bridge cultural gaps and connect with diverse audiences. I am also a certified personal development coach and a founding member of the Ghana Chapter of the International Coaching Federation, where I now serve on the Board. I hold a double Master’s degree in Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychology from the University of Bologna and the University of Valencia and I am an active member of the Society for Evidence Based Organizational Consulting.

Across my work and volunteer experiences, I remain motivated by the belief that every community thrives when people are empowered to use their voices and shape their own growth.
