I am a fundraising and grant writing professional and a commercial law lecturer with over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of law and philanthropy. My work is driven by a deep commitment to social justice and to supporting mission-driven organisations to achieve lasting impact through strategic fundraising, donor engagement, and capacity building.

I currently work as a Fundraising Consultant with Toro Development Network and Penda Capital, and I lecture in commercial law at Mountains of the Moon University. I bring expertise in commercial law, organisational leadership, grant writing, and donor strategy to strengthen nonprofits and social movements advancing equity and justice.

Previously, I led Angeret Advocates for eight years and served as a Racing Upwards Fellow and Senior Consultant with The Athena Advisors. I have also worked as a prospect researcher with Black Fox Global, supporting donor mapping and fundraising strategy development. My research contributions include work with the African Sovereign Debt Justice Network on sovereign debt and gender equality.

Alongside my professional roles, I have provided pro bono legal support to more than 40 survivors of human trafficking and trained over 1,500 legal actors in trauma-informed care. I hold a Bachelor of Laws from Uganda Christian University and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Uganda Law Society Bar Programme. I am currently completing a diploma in Organisational Leadership and Nonprofit Management at Southeastern University.

I deeply care about this work because life is short, and everyone deserves the chance to live with dignity and freedom from injustice. Supporting nonprofits to fulfill their missions brings us closer to a more just, compassionate, and equitable world.
