I am a lecturer and Vice Dean for Studies and Student Affairs at the University of Buea in Cameroon. In 2016, I earned a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the University of Buea. Through my research and teaching, I have explored curriculum development and educational policies required to promote student academic achievement. My research interest broadly focuses on educational outcomes, particularly students’ education, inclusive leadership, and the effects of educational changes on quality outcomes. My recent publications explore informed aspirations, aspirations in unemployment, and students’ analysis of parents’ educational expectations.
I am active in ongoing conversations on the constantly changing landscape of higher education. Most recently, I presented a brief on the effects of COVID-19 on effective communication at the 2020 Africa Education Leadership Roundtable organized by the Faculty of Education at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. In addition to presentations in other seminars, I have presented at national and international conferences including Education 2030 in Nigeria and Achievement of Vision 2035 in Cameroon.
