I am an experienced and proactive mathematics educator with a passion for teaching. I have 10 years of experience in teaching at the secondary education level and 9 years of experience at Shimoni Core Primary Teachers’ College. In 2020, I joined the Islamic University in Uganda as a member of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.

I hold a Master of Education Policy and Management from East China Normal University in 2017 with the support of a UNESCO The Great Wall Scholarship. In addition, I have a Masters in Mathematics Education obtained from Aga Khan University – Dar-es-Salaam in 2014. I also obtained a post graduate diploma in Teacher Education from Naruto University – Japan in 2011 with the support of the Monbukagakusho Scholarship and a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from Islamic University in Uganda (2000).

My research focuses on teacher education, curriculum development, and the implementation of educational technology. I believe that it is necessary to ensure that there are capable and innovative teachers and a supportive education system that enhances student learning and equitable skills development.
