I am presently pursuing a Ph.D. in Peace, Leadership, and Governance at Africa University in Zimbabwe. I hold a Master’s of Science degree in Peace, Leadership, and Conflict Resolution from the Zimbabwe Open University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Zimbabwe. I have also acquired diplomas and certificates in an array of programmatic areas, including developmental and humanitarian assistance, gender inclusion for development, HIV/AIDS care and counseling, monitoring and evaluation, and project management.
At the Leaders of Africa Institute, I have learned and continue to learn to make a positive contribution to my continent through active research. Presently, I am researching natural disaster responses by domestic non-governmental organizations in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. Key areas of concern include NGOs’ responsiveness, relevance, involvement of communities, resilience building, and interaction with the government.
