I am a neurologist and Lecturer with expertise in dementia, sleep medicine, and public health, committed to advancing brain health and preventive neurology in resource-limited settings. For the past ten years, I have served as a Consultant Neurologist at Buea Regional Hospital and Lecturer in Neurology at the University of Buea in Cameroon, where my work spans clinical care, teaching, research, and community outreach.
My research focuses on sleep, dementia, mental health, and traumatic brain injury, with several studies published in peer-reviewed journals. I am particularly interested in translating neurological research into practical interventions that improve health and safety. My current work seeks to improve sleep health among drivers through research, education, awareness campaigns, advocacy, and targeted public health policies in the transport sector to promote brain health and road safety.
I completed my medical and specialist training at the University of Yaoundé I and hold a Master of Science in Public Health. My broader mission is to strengthen neurological care by connecting neuroscience with clinical practice, operational research, education, and community-led advocacy.
