Oreoluwa Khadijat Babalola

I hold a Bachelor of Agriculture degree in Agronomy from the University of Ibadan. I am currently a graduate trainee at FarmKonnect Nigeria where I work with the operations department. My team oversees the cultivation and growing of crops. We also test the performance of experimental crops before growing on a large-scale.

I am passionate about achieving food security and sustainable development through efficient post-harvest practices and better agriculture and food system policies. I am also interested in coming up with efficient and sustainable post-harvest practices for agricultural produce. In particular, much of my work and research focuses on the cultivation and supply chain for tomatoes. At the Leaders of Africa Institute, I improve my advanced research methods skills in pursuit of research on achieving sustainable food security.
