I am an infrastructure planning specialist with over 10-year of experience in planning, designing, and implementing Telco and Power infrastructure projects. I have an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and currently pursuing a master’s degree in Data Science at The University of East London. Professionally, I have working experiences in on-grid and off-grid electrification data gathering, planning and modeling, and fiber optic telecoms networks planning and design. Currently, I work as an advisor on electrification planning in the Nigeria Energy Support Programme (NESP), a technical assistance program to the government of Nigeria by The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ).
Amongst my achievements in this role is leading the conceptualization, framework development, design, development and deployment of the newly launched Nigeria SE4ALL platform (www.nigeriase4all.gov.ng) for the Federal Ministry of Power. It is a novel integrated planning tool that comprises a portal housing a web-based GIS planning tool for electrification planning and monitoring. It is one of a kind platform in the sub-region, that is set to revolutionize data-driven decision-making for electrification in Nigeria. My interests are in the use of location intelligence and big data in planning and designing solutions to the infrastructural deficiencies in sub-Saharan Africa.
